2023 Sauvignon Blanc QW, dry, 12.5% vol., Von Winning

From the top vineyard sites of Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten, Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker, and a few others. The grapes grow on weathered variegated sandstone, loess loam, calcareous marl, and limestone. Ripe fruit, tart and spicy herbal aromas, and a subtle hint of oak on the nose are carried on the palate by a compelling structure, fine salinity, and ripe acidity, resulting in a remarkably long finish. A very complex Sauvignon Blanc, aged primarily in oak barrels of various sizes with its natural yeasts.
