2024 Win Win Riesling QW, dry, from Winning

The entry-level von Winning wine is fresh, fruity, and aged in large wooden barrels. It is complex and saline, fresh, and boasts juicy fruit. The winery was known as Dr. Deinhard for over 90 years and has borne its historical name again since the change of ownership in 2007. It owns 44 hectares of vineyards, 10 of which are classified as Grosses Gewachs (Grand Cru). With 80% of the cultivated area dedicated to Riesling, the focus is clearly on the variety, but Sauvignon Blanc is also gaining in importance. The dynamic estate manager Stephan Attmann also joined von Winning with the new owner, leading the winery to the forefront of the Palatinate wine region with his creativity and expertise.
