VDP.ORTSWEINE are ambassadors of their community. The grapes come from distinctive and traditional vineyards within the Westhofen district. Dense and expressive wines grow on the typical clay-marl and limestone soils. Intensive year-round vineyard care, low yields, and consistent hand-selection of the grapes create the foundation for high-quality wines. This is followed by careful grape and must processing, followed by traditional winemaking. The wines ferment largely in traditional wooden barrels.
