The Ida Marie cuvee is a blend of the typical Champagne varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay. A rich golden yellow with delicate apricot highlights and persistent perlage characterize its appearance. On the nose, it offers aromas of warm plaited bread, British orange marmalade on salt-buttered toast, and small red wild strawberries. Added to this are impressions of wet pebbles after a warm summer rain and a mild sea breeze. The first sip is juicy with finely bubbly mousse, lively acidity, and playfully dancing fruit.
