With the Moet and Chandon Grand Vintage Rose 2016, the Cellar Master expresses his individual interpretation of a remarkable year in Champagne. In 2016, the weather was quite turbulent, with unexpected changes at the whim of nature. Nevertheless, it produced Pinot Noir and Meunier, which make up 58% of this Champagne, of exceptional quality. A black, spicy bouquet. Initial aromas of dark berries. Notes of fig and wild strawberry combine with the spice of pink pepper, aromatic pepper, and four-spice. A hint of flowering garrigue. Powerful and multifaceted on the palate. The fruit note is concentrated, dark, and deep. Tannins provide contour and add many facets-like a rough diamond. Pleasantly tart notes of sloe and cranberries as well as notes of mint and anise give a fresh finish.
