Krug Collection 1995 is the second revelation of Krug 1995 through time. Krug Collection 1995 is the second incarnation of Krug 1995, a serene, harmonious, and exquisite champagne. Some bottles received their corks in June 2020, a second group in June 2021, recognizable by their Krug iD. To express the character of this vintage, the blend consists of wines from the grape varieties Pinot Noir (48%), Chardonnay (35%), and Meunier (17%). Today, over 25 years later, Krug Collection 1995 has become an infinitely multifaceted Champagne, conveying the sensation of infinite elegance, finesse, and intensity. It is a truly unforgettable experience. The nose reveals aromas of cocoa, orange marmalade, and biscuits. The palate presents refreshingly contrasting notes of delicious pastries, buttered madeleine, and candied orange, giving way to a hint of bitter orange, enhanced by a remarkably fresh finish with vibrant citrus fruit and a very subtle lemon aroma.
