2017 Vin Jaune, white wine, dry, 14.5% vol., Savagny

Deep straw yellow. Intense on the nose with notes of oak, walnut, hazelnut, and vanilla. Beautiful grip, with a clear structure and harmonious acidity, offering aromas of nuts and undergrowth, and a very long finish. The soils are calcareous and clayey, becoming marl on the lower slopes. The Vins Jaunes are aged for six years in barriques according to old regional tradition. Bottled in the typical 620ml Clavelin bottles of Vin Jaune.
