2006 Amarone, dry, 16% vol., Monte Zovo

Aged for 24 months in barriques. Deep, dark red. On the palate, aromas of plums, cherries, licorice, and chocolate are evident. Balsamic notes are also present. Overall, it has an intense, full-bodied character with a long finish.
