This Vino Nobile is Poliziano`s flagship wine. Formerly marketed as a Riserva, the wine now focuses solely on the name of the single vineyard, Asinone. It was aged for 18 months in new French barriques. Its bouquet is incredible - very multifaceted without being overpowering. Aromas of wild berries, violets, and leather. A distinct coolness emanates from the glass, lending this dense nose great finesse. 94 points from Wine Spectator, 94 points from Falstaff.
