The cuvee - made from Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Pinot Noir - is a harmonious, fruity red wine with round tannins. Plum, blueberry and blackberry dominate the nose and the palate, in combination with spices such as cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and a hint of dark chocolate. Aging: approx. 6 months in a large wooden barrel. Served at 15-17°C, it goes well with hearty, hearty dishes such as sauerbraten or black pudding. Since taking over the family winery, Werner Nakel, a career changer, has written an unparalleled success story. He is a pioneer in winemaking and cellaring and represents a new style of the Pinot Noir grape variety on the Ahr.
