DE - ORGANIC - 039. The Geyersberg vineyard is one of the top sites of the May winery and is located in Bechtheim. The wines are characterized by the limestone soil. Pinot Noir is the king of red grape varieties, and the Mays place particular emphasis on it. It demands all the skill and intuition of the winemaker. After 18 months of aging in barriques, this Pinot Noir presents itself at its best. The oak is perfectly integrated into the fruit and the richness of the wine. Enjoy it at 14-16°C in a large red wine glass. From the 2015 vintage onwards, the grape variety is listed as Pinot Noir and no longer as Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir).
