Planteray (Plantation) Cut and Dry Rum Infused with Coconut

Planteray Cut and Dry is a handcrafted coconut rum from Barbados. First, ripe coconuts are harvested, cracked open, and left to dry naturally outdoors. The dried coconuts are then infused in a blend of Barbados unaged column still rum and Barbados unaged Gregg pot still rum. This infusion is then blended with Barbados rum aged for up to three years. One coconut is used per liter of rum. It has a very intense aroma of coconut pulp, vanilla, cinnamon, and hints of sesame oil. Exceptionally smooth and mellow on the palate, it follows the nose, as the coconut aromas are very prominent. These are complemented by banana, green ginger, and gentle notes of molasses and herbs.
