Planteray (Plantation) Cut and Dry Rum Infused with Coconut

Planteray Cut and Dry is an artisanal rum with coconut from Barbados. Ripe coconuts are first harvested, cracked and placed outside to dry naturally. The dried coconuts are infused in a blend of Barbados unaged column still rum and Barbados unaged Gregg Pot Still rum. This infusion is then blended with Barbados rum that is up to 3 years old. One coconut is needed per liter of rum. Very intense smell of coconut pulp, vanilla, cinnamon and hints of sesame oil. Exceptionally round and soft on the palate. It follows the nose, as the coconut aromas are very present. This is accompanied by bananas, green ginger and gentle notes of molasses and herbs.
