The year 1996 produced great wines: fresh, racy and very mineral. The cuvee of 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay appears in the glass with a pink robe with golden and orange reflections. Dynamic, extremely fine perlage with a well-defined line of bubbles. Bouquet with notes of red fruits preserved in alcohol (raspberries) as well as floral aromas (peonies) and nuances of smoked bacon and spices (cinnamon), typical of this vintage. After contact with air, delicious notes of almonds, honey and nougat. Intense, vinous and fresh on the palate. A very concentrated, tasty, enveloping wine. The finish has a wonderful acidity and reveals itself with increasing intensity. In this fresh millesime, all the power of a tasty, juicy, long Pinot Noir is expressed. A great champagne with an energetic, finely spicy finish!
