Tamari soy sauce is a soy sauce made from soybeans. The soybeans are usually harvested and pressed by hand. Unlike many soy sauces, Tamari does not contain wheat and is therefore gluten-free and suitable for allergy sufferers. Compared to regular soy sauce, Tamari sauce is less salty.
