2019 Pinot Noir, dry, 13.5% vol., F. Becker

Grown on limestone soils around Schweigen on the German and Alsatian sides. The vines are between 15 and 42 years old. Pleasant, dense ruby red with dark reflections. The 17 months of maturation in large and small oak barrels give the wine its fine spiciness and elegant berry aroma. On the nose, scents of cherry, beetroot, tobacco leaves and forest floor. On the palate, juicy, finely fruity, robust with good length and structure.
