Aronia berries, whole dried, ORGANIC
DE - ORGANIC - 001 These berries belong to the rose family. Aronia berries are small, dark blue fruits characterized by their tart, slightly sour taste and are rich in minerals, vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants. They originated in North America and are now primarily cultivated in Germany, Poland, and Austria. The dried aronia berries are unsulphured and contain no added sugar. A gentle drying process intensifies the flavor and gives the berries a raisin-like shape. They are ideal as a snack, an ingredient in muesli, for refining dishes, or for baking. Dried aronia berries have several advantages over fresh ones. Firstly, they have a longer shelf life and can be consumed year-round. Secondly, they contain more fiber and less water than fresh aronia berries.
