Teriyaki sauce - as a dip and marinade, from Kikkoman
The main ingredients of this sauce are soy sauce, wine, sugar, spirit vinegar, spices, onions, and garlic. Teriyaki sauce can be used as a marinade for raw meat, as a dip for stir-fries, or added to rice and noodle dishes. If using the sauce as a marinade, the meat should marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for three hours before cooking in a pan or on the grill. At the end of the cooking time, deglazing the pan with a little teriyaki sauce and reducing it briefly will create a delicious sauce.
