        Curry leaves, dried
Curry leaves come from the curry tree of the same name and should not be confused with curry powders, which are produced as spice mixtures. The smell and taste of curry leaves is fresh and pleasant and vaguely reminiscent of tangerine. They are used in the cuisines of southern India and Sri Lanka and are particularly good at flavoring rice and lentil dishes.
