DE-OKO-003 The wine shows the perfect interplay between minerality, fruit and acidity, as well as density and elegance. The scent is a prime example of the location. Yeasty notes are followed by flint, hay, black tea and herbal, fresh aromas such as mint and woodruff. With air, it also shows hints of ripe citrus fruit, red-fleshed vineyard peach and exotic fruits. This double play is also repeated in terms of taste: the grape variety contributes the fruity, elegant taste and the iron-rich soil the herbal, spicy, mineral taste. This vintage is characterized by its seemingly endless length, which is an interplay of fine tannins and the slate minerality. The wine has - like all Rebholz wines - great storage potential.
