It all started with the renovation of Michaela Schaffrath`s small Bremen townhouse, which she inherited from her grandmother Martha. Eventually, the attic also needed clearing out. Among old furniture, suitcases, and boxes, she found a yellowed slip of paper with faded handwriting: Grandma Martha`s eggnog recipe! That`s how her vanilla eggnog came about.
