2019 Selection dry, 14% vol., Vieux Parc
The estate`s flagship wine is a cuvee of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre from the oldest vines on the property. Aged for 12 months in barriques, this wine possesses a herbal and peppery character complemented by subtle hints of licorice and truffle. It has excellent aging potential. Corbieres, at 13,000 hectares, is the largest sub-region of the Languedoc. The Panis family has been running the estate for five generations, cultivating 65 hectares, 39 of which are within the Corbieres AOP, primarily planted with red grape varieties. In addition to classic southern French grapes, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown on the clay, limestone, and gravelly soils. The winery cultivates its vines with great respect for nature and is a member of the Vitealis organization.
