2010 Silvaner Eiswein, sweet, 7.0% vol., Alois Kiefer

The berries were harvested in December 2010 at -9° Celsius with an operational record result of 215° Oechsle. The wine flows thickly, almost syrupy, into the glass. Aromas of ripe yellow fruits and honey dominate the character. The 379 grams of residual sugar are nicely buffered by almost 12 grams of acid.
