Soy Sauce - Najimi Light Tamari, Minamigura, Japan
Best before date of the promotional item: November 30, 2024. Only while supplies last! This Najimi Tamari is brewed from regional soybeans from Aichi Prefecture in nearly 150-year-old wooden barrels. We chose this light tamari to offer people with gluten intolerance a high-quality soy sauce that is elegant and not dark and heavy. Unlike most tamaris available in Germany, this tamari is very light and has a pleasant, slightly sweet finish, which comes from the high-quality soybeans. The umami content is 150% higher than other soy sauces. Aichi Prefecture is famous for its tamari style, which is a special type of brew. Founded in 1882, the Minamigura company places great emphasis on the quality of its raw ingredients. Aoki-san is the fifth generation to brew using traditional methods and places great importance on ensuring that the brewing process is as natural and minimally influenced as possible. This sounds very simple, but is very difficult to implement in reality. - Type: Tamari (wheat-free) - Brewing/maturation time: approx. 3 years in wooden barrels - Gluten-free cuisine - Seasoning vegetables, stews - Can be eaten raw - Cheese tip: Marinate mozzarella for several hours or overnight in a mixture of tamari, sake, and mirin. Drained, serve as a small Japanese tapas with shiso and sesame seeds or sesame oil.
