Canoe honey, Ahititi, New Zealand
Native to New Zealand, the kanuka tree (Kuneza ericoides) is found in coastal and lowland forests, but also wetlands. A member of the myrtle bush/tree family, it is also known to many as the `tea tree`. It is a delicate honey with a delicate, silky and sweet floral taste.
