Spice garden licorice root, cut, BIO

DE-ÖKO-001 Licorice is primarily known as a raw material in licorice production. Its aroma is reminiscent of anise or fennel, but it is stronger. In terms of taste, the root offers strong sweetness and has a warming effect. As a spice, liquorice is not so easily accessible for use in sweet and spicy dishes. Carefully dosed, it goes well with Szechuan pepper, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds, cassia cinnamon, ginger and fennel. Try licorice for flavoring in dessert creations or with fish seared in butter.
