Actress Michaela Schaffrath discovered an old recipe for homemade eggnog among her grandmother Martha`s belongings. Intrigued, she tried the recipe and was so delighted with the result that she now wants to share it with others, ready-made and bottled. Only eggs from local farms are used for this `Eierei` (egg liqueur). These eggs come exclusively from free-range, animal-friendly hens. High-quality ingredients are lovingly and skillfully processed according to Grandma Martha`s family recipe. Because the `Eierei` contains no additives, you might notice small golden specks in the liqueur, which will dissolve when you shake the bottle. The `Vanilla Eggnog` is a very high-quality liqueur, which is why the alcohol content is slightly higher than in some other egg liqueurs. The 20% ABV ensures a full, rich flavor.
