The environmentally friendly alternative! Disposable cutlery made of PLA (polylactide / lactic acid) is biodegradable. A new type of material made from renewable vegetable raw materials. PLA can withstand temperatures of up to 45 degrees and impresses with its strength. In terms of haptics, this series impresses with its naturalness. Please store in a dry and dark place. All cutlery made of PLA are natural materials or materials that are 100% biodegradable and could therefore theoretically be disposed of with organic waste. However, many disposal companies in Germany do not allow this, which is why the products usually have to be disposed of in the residual waste bin. Certificates for biodegradability according to DIN EN 13432 are available. This certification confirms that the products are suitable for industrial composting. Please ask your local waste disposal company to discuss the regulations.
