2017 Riesling Auslese, dry, 11% vol., Leitner

For Leitner, Auslese is a wine that should be fun. Uncomplicated, straightforward and drinkable, these are the most important properties. Elegant peach scent underlaid with honeydew melon and biscuit. On the palate peach, black tea, fine herbal freshness; balanced sweet and sour game. One tries to set the alcohol a little lower and, depending on the acidity of the wine, to keep the residual sugar content between 70 to 90 grams per liter. Drink and have fun, that`s the motto here.
