This Macis comes from Ski Lanka. The delicate orange braid is the dried husk of nutmeg. Macis has the aromas of nutmeg, but is much milder and therefore easier to dose. For the subtle seasoning of fine soups, eggs, fish, seafood, potatoes, cheese, cabbage, pumpkin and dairy dishes. Wonderful for the Christmas bakery!
