Plantation Overproof Rum OFTD (Old Fashioned Traditional Dark) is a blend of exceptional rums from Guyana, Jamaica, and Barbados. The rum boasts a beautiful mahogany-red color. The bouquet is intense, with very precise notes of coffee, oranges, plums, marmalade, and truffles. The OFTD also has much to offer on the palate. Rich notes of caramel cream, chocolate, and vanilla give way to cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, oak, and molasses with pleasant smoky accents. A long and lingering finish with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and cloves completes the tasting experience. In the empty glass, notes of brown cane molasses, oak, and plums remain.
