One of the largest types of chickpea is the Castellano: very tender and with a thin, soft skin that does not flake off during cooking. It is bottled ready for consumption and only needs to be heated. Even cold, it is excellently suitable for consumption, for example in a salad with tomatoes and onions. Size 1.5 - 2 cm in diameter.
