These apple rings are delicious as a snack and are also suitable for baking. Soak them briefly in boiling water or overnight in cold water. They are suitable for muesli, baked goods, and stuffings for poultry or pork. Some of the water has been removed from these fruits to preserve them. They can be eaten dried, but can also be soaked again in water, fruit juice, or alcohol. They are also ideal for garnishing a wide variety of dishes. The apples are harvested when fully ripe, sweet, and aromatic, and dried with hot air.
