Morelli 1860 Spaghettoni Tonnarelli

Behind the pasta specialties of the ancient pasta manufacturer `Morelli` lies a very special ingredient that is not actually found in conventional pasta: wheat germ. This is normally separated from the bran during the milling of grain. At `Morelli`, however, the nutrient-rich component of the wheat is added back to the bran after milling, resulting in pasta with a firm consistency and intense flavor. The traditional `Morelli` house has been producing the finest Italian pasta by hand and of the highest quality for over 150 years. The company remains one of the most respected pasta manufacturers in the country. In the production of their classic pasta and their creatively flavored pasta, they avoid all preservatives and colorings; everything is natural and produced with great patience. The dough is rolled out by hand from the highest quality durum wheat semolina and dried for 36 hours at a low temperature.
