As is traditional, this fruit brandy is distilled exclusively from apples and pears. Preferably, fruit from the orchards surrounding Riegersburg is used, resulting in a carefully balanced blend of varieties that creates the characteristic flavor profile of this brandy: tart and fruity on the nose, delicate and subtle on the palate.
