Anniversary Edition - 12 Years Casserole Cuvee from Column Still and Pot Still. A cuvée of different, very old Barbados rums that first matured for many years in bourbon barrels in the tropics and then aged for 12 to 18 months in small French oak barrels in the cool cellars of Chateau de Bonbonnet / Cognac. This aging process, also called double aging, brings an incomparable softness and fullness. Color: mahogany, beautiful viscosity. Nose: exotic notes of sugar cane, vanilla, and toast. Taste: very balanced, soft and gentle, almost sweet, very pleasing aroma. The smell and taste of vanilla, ripe banana, candied orange and roasted coconut is very present and lingering in the long run.
