Anniversary Edition - 12-Year-Old Barrel-Aged Cuvee from Column Still and Pot Still. A cuvee of various very old Barbados rums that initially matured for many years in bourbon barrels in the tropics and then for 12 to 18 months in small French oak casks in the cool cellars of Chateau de Bonbonnet in Cognac. This aging process, also known as double aging, imparts an unparalleled smoothness and richness. Color: mahogany, beautiful viscosity. Nose: exotic notes of sugarcane, vanilla, and toast. Taste: very balanced, smooth and gentle, almost sweet, a very pleasing aroma. The scent and taste of vanilla, ripe banana, candied orange, and toasted coconut are very present and linger long on the finish.
