Disposable dish Wave, made of sugarcane fibers, white, square with wave, 8 x 8 cm
An exceptionally elegant solution for producing disposable tableware from renewable and compostable raw materials is the use of sugarcane fibers. This abundant byproduct is a byproduct of sugar extraction during the production of raw sugar. The particularly tough fibers, which were previously often incinerated, can be used as valuable biomass. Up to 50 disposable plates can be produced from the residue of a single sugarcane stalk. Tableware made from sugarcane is stylish, lightweight, yet very durable. It is also water-resistant, microwave-safe, and therefore suitable for both hot and cold environments.
