The smaller smooth lisce are used where sauces and noodle taste should not connect. Do you like them in Italy for coarse vegetable sauces with artichokes, beans, broccoli, peas? For pasta salads with tuna or scampi, with tomatoes and mozzarella, Penne lisce are also the appropriate variety.
