Tahitian vanilla is ideal for making desserts, creme brulee, vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream, many other desserts and delicious sauces for shellfish. Vanilla de Tahiti is grown in the Pacific Islands. The pods, which weigh between 7 and 10 grams, are 15-20 cm long, approx. 1 cm wide, black-brown and very fleshy. Due to its higher piperone content, which is expressed in an unusually delicate floral aroma, the smell differs noticeably from standard vanilla and is doubly productive. It is used, for example, in the preparation of desserts, shellfish and seafood, as well as fruit delicacies.
