2021 Eichberg Spätburgunder GG, dry, 12.5% vol., Franz Keller

Hand-picked Pinot Noir from Tephyr soil, which was allowed to mature in barriques for a year and a half after about a month on the mash. In addition to its opulent and ripe dark fruit, it has wonderful notes of herbs and tonka beans. The tannins can still ripen a bit, but are already integrated so harmoniously that the wine is already a lot of fun. Goes perfectly with braised and dark meat, spicy dishes or even a strong Epoisses cheese!
