African pearl salt
Many factors must work together and align perfectly to create this unique appearance of salt. Similar to fleur de sel, the finest crystals accumulate on the surface of Atlantic seawater in salt pans at the latitude of the Namib Desert. After some time, they become so heavy that they sink to the bottom. Through evaporation and the constant movement of the waves, tiny pearls form, each one naturally unique. Their hardness makes them ideal for spice mills and also suitable as a bath additive.
