The fifth generation of the Bauer family business in Landau-Nussdorf is growing wine.

    Alexander and Martin Bauer now look after almost 29 hectares of vineyards. The main focus of the Emil Bauer and Sohne winery is on very carefully developed Rieslings and white Burgundy wines as well as various red wine varieties, which are aged in granite, steel, wooden or barrique barrels.

    The revolution continues. The Emil Bauer and Sohne winery was chosen by Fine-Das Weinmagazin as one of the <111 best young German winemakers> and was nominated as <Newcomer of the Year 2014> at the Falstaff Wine Trophy.
    The Gourmet Worlds recognized them among the top 15 German wineries for their 2014 collection. At <Generation Pfalz> they are among the top 20 for 2015/16.
