The Blue Mountain tastes clear and strong, slightly nutty, has tobacco notes and delicate acids. It is one of the most exclusive types of coffee in the world and comes from a strictly limited area of cultivation in Jamaica. This stretches across a mountain range across the island at an altitude of around 1,600 meters. The ideal growth conditions are there. Due to the frequent fog, the growth phase is slowed down, the beans become dense and hard and special aromas are created. The annual harvest is almost 900,000 kg and 90% is destined for the Japanese market.
