They have the necessary hardness to maintain a good and smooth surface in the long term, but at the same time they are easy on the blades and easy to clean. With good care, the CHROMA Butcher boards last forever. Before the first use, the boards should be rubbed generously with normal cooking oil - this process then occasionally repeat. After use, simply clean with a cloth, warm water and if necessary with a little detergent. Then dry well.
