This primal salt is extracted from a salt lake on the edge of the Kalahari Desert, which is fed by a 280 million year old underground salt deposit. Without trickling aids and free of additives, the sun-dried gourmet salt remains 100% natural. Kalahari salt has a pleasantly mild taste. The salt is available coarse for the salt mill or fine for the salt shaker.
