The basis for Sissi Waldhimbeere from the wooden barrel is a noble raspberry brandy. The fire is stored in oak barrels and then set with dried fruit. The result of this complex procedure is a particularly mild distillate with intense fruit flavor and golden color with full 41% vol. The raspberry brandy used is distilled under vacuum. The vacuum lowers the boiling point and protects the heat-sensitive fruit flavors.
