The basis for Sissi apricot from wooden barrels is a noble Marillenbrand. The fire is stored in oak barrels and then set with dried fruit. The result of this complex procedure is a particularly mild distillate with intense fruit flavor and golden color with full 41% vol. The apricots used fire is distilled under vacuum. The vacuum lowers the boiling point and protects the heat-sensitive fruit flavors.
