Detlev von Koeding created this barbecue sauce for the Chicago 33 restaurant in a variation of the classic Argentinian herb sauce Chimichurri. In Argentina, chimichurri is traditionally served with grilled meat. The spicy sauce also goes well with fish, vegetables, pies and soups.
